Lyuba Titovets was born and educated in St. Petersburg, Russia. At five years old, she took her first private art classes. She received a Master of Fine Arts from St. Petersburg State University. While in St. Petersburg, her accomplishments included teaching art, illustrating books, and working as the chief designer for the theater “Mask." Her final position was as an art historian for the newly established Department of History of Culture at St. Petersburg State Pedagogical University.

Since coming to the United States in 1992, she has had great success and recognition. With invitations to national and international juried exhibitions and numerous group and solo shows in galleries throughout the U.S., Lyuba’s career soared. She is the recipient of numerous awards and has had 15 solo exhibitions and many more together with her husband, Aleksander. Lyuba illustrated several books, created posters, and painted three-dimensional objects for different cultural events and organizations. Her art has been published in books such as “Sketch Confidential: Secrets of Master Artists,” “Desert Modern and Beyond,” and in magazines including Art of the West, American Art Collector, Southwest Art, and many others.

Lyuba’s lyrical, symbolic, and whimsical works combine wit, native charm, and skills, bringing a unique experience to anybody interested in art. Her name, translated in Russian, means “love” and is a feeling represented in her images. “I hope my paintings will take you away from your worries and will bring some good, clear thoughts or dreams to you, or at least a smile. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for letting me share my little world with you."
