Scott Mack
Scott Mack has united the two greatest passions of his life – painting and the outdoors. He’s a graduate of the Columbus College of Art and Design but his interest for painting started when he was a child. Scott’s love of the outdoors began at an early age, too. He spent most of his time wandering through woods and fields drawing inspiration from landscapes and everyday surroundings. “Painting has always been a way for me to share the way I see things. I’ve had the good fortune to travel and paint many beautiful places. I approach paintings from many directions – from life, photo reference or just from my imagination. The plein air approach is my favorite. There’s nothing better than painting on location, especially when I’m in a beautiful place with good light.” Scott’s paintings have appeared in many publications and galleries around the country.
