Dyan currently lives in Abernathy, Texas, situated just north of Lubbock, alongside her husband of 19 years. With over 38 years of experience in painting, she has worked with various mediums, including watercolors, acrylics, pastels, and oils. Dyan has had the privilege of studying under both renowned local and national artists. Over the years, she has cultivated her own impressionistic style, characterized by dynamic brushwork and vibrant colors. Her passion for painting shines through in her depictions of landscapes, portraits, animals, and floral subjects.

Dyan draws inspiration from the beauty of a summer day and the innocence reflected in a child's expression. Her goal is to capture these moments in her artwork, conveying the same joy she experienced when first encountering the scene. Many admirers of her work appreciate the lively colors and the sense of "happiness" that her paintings exude.

As a signature member of both Artists of Texas and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, Dyan has received numerous accolades at both local and international levels. Her artwork is included in private and corporate collections across the United States and internationally. Additionally, she conducts classes and workshops throughout the year.
